Each week, I’ll highlight a location, hotel, or activity that’s on my bucket list. Can’t wait to cross them off!
I have yet to witness the phenomenon of the Northern Lights and I decided that when I do, it will be a unique experience all around.
I will sleep on ice covered by a fur blanket and sip vodka in an ice bar from a glass made out of ice. I will ride in a sleigh guided by huskies. I will snowmobile under the Northern Lights.
The IceHotel is located in northern Sweden, 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. And I can’t wait to visit.

The Ice Hotel recently created deluxe suites which include a room made out of stunning ice sculptures from incredibly talented artists from across the world AND a warm spa-like bathroom complete with your own personal sauna. Now we’re talking my style.
During winter when there’s a high likelihood to see the Northern Lights, they book up far in advance so I’m already planning for next winter.
